The Encouraging Word is the spiritual outgrowth of the television ministry of First Baptist Spartanburg. Launched in 2005, The Encouraging Word is an extension of the FBS television ministry. The strength and expertise of our FBS media ministry parented TEW which now has grown and is sending the television ministry to greater heights.

The Encouraging Word can now be seen and heard all over the world. We have had responses from viewers in all fifty states and many foreign countries
