I Thessalonians 4:13-18

1. WHAT IS THE RAPTURE?

It is the time when:

1. Jesus will come down from heaven (v. 16)
2. A loud command will be given
3. The trumpet will sound
4. Jesus will stop in the clouds (v. 17)

1. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO ME AS A CHRISTIAN?

It means:

1. If you are dead, you will accompany Jesus from heaven (v. 14)
2. If you are alive, you will be caught up into heaven (v. 17)

• WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE NOT?

1. If they are dead, they will remain in hell
2. If they are alive, they will be left behind

1. WHAT CAN I DO TODAY?

1. Be encouraged (v. 18)
2. Be sharing
3. Be saved
