My friend, don’t get caught up in all the side frivolity of the scandal of this world. Look to Jesus!

The Apostle Paul had a very sordid and sinful past. Then he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. He was forgiven and restored. Life as he knew it would never be the same. His life was radically changed! The political tyranny in Rome was relentlessly oppressive and repugnant. The religious people opposed him just like they opposed Jesus. The Apostle Paul had an arduous journey. Yet, he pressed on having fully surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus Christ!

My friend, what’s going on in your life today? Are you thinking about giving up? Don’t give up. We cannot afford to be deterred on our journey. Too much is at stake! Yes, The Apostle Paul’s journey was arduous, but it was fruitful!

The Bible reminds us that perilous times will come. Remember, you are surrounded by “SO GREAT A CLOUD OF WITNESSES!” Stay the course!
