When Jesus ascended to Heaven, He did not leave us by our selves. God sent the Third Person of the Trinity to us — The Holy Spirit. “And I will pray to the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever.” (John 14:16) What does this mean to us? It means that we cannot lose our salvation; it is sealed! (2 Corinthians 1:22) It means we are never alone. (John 14:16) The Holy Spirit is our Helper. He lives within all who have given their heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ enabling them to live our the Christian life.
